For the last 4 months my email inbox has been bombarded by official looking messages (up to 5 or 6 in a day, every day) from the "IRS", yes the Internal Revenue Service asking me to click on a link to get my refund, or to let me know why my refund hd been rejected, etc…
Please know that the IRS DOES NOT send you emails. They are FRAUDULENT. These are attempts to "Phish" (from fishing) personal information, like social Security numbers, Credit card numbers, etc.. from you.
If you receive any of these emails, DO NOT OPEN THEM. FORWARD THEM TO phishing@irs.gov and let them handle them.

I have also been receiving zillions of other emails from "US Airways" and many other organizations whose good names were being misused by criminals for FRAUDULENT purposes. You may forward those to the Federal Trade Commission at spam@uce.gov
