Well, Hurricane Season 2012 is here and ISAAC is on its way. I sincerely hope this information will be helpful for you or your family and friends. I sincerely hope that you never have to use it.
1) The National Hurricane Center Guide for Tropical Cyclones Preparedness
2) The Florida Dept of Highway Safety and Motor vehicles provides a site Emergency Contact Information where you can input your information of a person(s) to contact in an emergency. Available also in Spanish language.
3) For businesses, The Small Business Administration (SBA) has a Disaster Assistance Center that might be helpful in the case of a Hurricane or other disaster.
4) May I suggest you visit the FBI’s “Missing Children” information site. Who knows, you might help someone.
5) For the Elders in your family: a Link to the Florida Dept. of Elder Affairs “Disaster Preparedness Guide For Elders” . It can be a valuable source of information for your elders, and friends. Please forward this email to any Seniors you know or their families.
